      Next to the rainbow, clothing featuring the inverted pink triangle shirts are the most recognizable expression of homosexual pride.
The emblem was originally used by Nazis to identify homosexuals marked for extermination during World War II. (Similarly, the black triangle was a Nazi marker for anti-social prisoners.) Leaders in the gay movement eventually revived the triangles and now use them on gay clothing, flags and banners to signal the fight against oppression.
In addition to the pink triangle, the labrys, a double-blade axe, is used as a symbol in the lesbian community.
At least three distinct designs are used in the Transgendered Flag: one that features the pink triangle with male and female symbols within, and others with variations of pink and blue horizontal stripes.
The BiPride Flag features hot pink and blue, and a blending of the two shades in the middle, representing the bisexual's sexual preferences for men and women.
So, as you can see, there are very specific ways to show your pride with rainbow clothing that expresses exactly what you want to say to the world about yourself.
